Tamiya StuG IV

Recently built the Tamiya 1/35 scale Sturmgeschutz IV.  I think that Tamiya's kits are the best for use with traditional army men because of how prolific, relatively inexpensive when compared to other manufacturers, and easy-to-assemble their kits are. They also usually come molded in an appropriate color, so no painting is required.  Sure, they are a little off-scale, being 1/35 scale rather than 1/32 scale, with 1/32 scale being more traditional army man scale, but it has actually been a staple of army men in itself that the tanks with which they are packaged are extremely off-scale.   Even tanks by Classic Toy Soldiers (CTS), which makes its tanks for the express purpose of providing armored support for classic army men, are in 1/38 scale.  Also, all the old classic tanks by Tim Mee and Marx were always about 1/48 scale.  In addition, Tamiya has probably the most comprehensive range of AFVs of all kinds from World War II and the Cold War era.  I hope to get more of their excellent kits in the future.
